The wait is finally over! Tears of the Kingdom is here, and most of us are likely still trying to pick our jaws up off of the floor. Not only is the game absolutely breathtaking, but it also seems Nintendo put a ton of polish on all the features that were present in Breath of the Wild and added a slew of new ones for us to explore as well.
While not a lot was shared about the Tears of the Kingdom shrines, they are in fact back, and there sure are a lot of them. We’ll walk you through where to find every shrine in the game, and how to complete them like a pro.
Shrines Of Light Overview
Since Link loses just about everything right at the beginning of the game, minus his memories this time around, you won’t be able to apply much of what you learned about the Breath of the Wild shrines in Tears of the Kingdom. Each shrine is designed to challenge you in entirely new ways and make use of the plethora of abilities Link gets with that fancy new arm of his.
Because Tears of the Kingdom was very recently released, we are still in the progress of compiling our list of all the available shrines in the game. Currently, we have found 103 shrines. We will continue to update you on their locations and solutions as we check them off our list, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back often. To help you keep track, we will be organizing the shrines by the Skyview Tower regions in Hyrule and the sky islands above.
Lookout Landing Shrine Locations
The first sky tower you activate is the Lookout Landing tower in front of Hyrule Castle. This is where you’ll encounter Purah, power on all sky towers across the map, and calibrate your Purah Pad in order to interact with them. We have our ongoing list of shrines in this region for you below.
